Makes a great bridal shower gift!
I received this book as an engagement gift and loved it!
It has space for recording (via text and pictures)
memories of courtship, engagement, wedding plans,
ceremony and festivities as well as the honeymoon and
first home. And each year I add a couple lines of text in
the space provided to record what we've done on
subsequent wedding anniversaries. It's a very special
book and has become my favorite gift to give at bridal
showers. The reactions of the brides I've given it to
have been just as enthusiastic! (5stars!)

Synopsis
This guide explains what is required by law and
what can be individually tailored to meet a
couple's particular preferences and
circumstances. It will enable couples to
personalize their vows, select their own readings
and prayers, and include children of previous
marriages where appropriate.
The author,
Rowena Edlin-White , 29 November, 1999
This book, though based upon the Church of
England wedding service, draws from the richness
of other denominations, faiths and cultures,
suggesting original readings, music and symbolic
rituals to make your wedding really special.
Whether you intend marrying in church, register
office or another kind of venue altogether, there
is something here for you! For example, because
readings used in a civil ceremony may not have
religious titles or content, we have supplied
some meaningful alternatives. Many people may be
marrying again, or already have children when
they marry - there are items to be inserted into
the service which recognise those things and
include the whole family. Think you can't afford
to get married? Here are some affordable ideas
which will in no way diminish the importance of
the occasion. Lots of practical help too about
who does what, who to contact and what is
possible (or impossible!) and a handy check-list
to use as the big day comes closer.

Excellent historic document of a modern grand prix
This is a book of pictures taken at a few grand prix
wekeends during the 1998 season. It gives the reader an
excellent look, often from the view of the spectator at a
modern grand prix.
The great contrast between
the "poor" spectators and the drivers and teams
in one of the richest sports in the world is even more
obvious when all pictures in the book is black and white.
Every picture in this book feels like a frame taken from
the "movie" of reality and preserved for all to
see, now and in the future. Some pictures are pure art
and could well hang on my wall in a big frame. Some
photos are really of our time, and some could well have
been taken 20 years ago. Some things dont change, much.
The only negative bit
about this book is that there is not a single photo in
colour. Some might say that this gives the book even more
"feel". As i fairly seasoned amature
photographer i think that both formats have its place in
the art of photography. I think that considering all the
time and money spent on modern cars paintscheme to make
it look good on tv and film, this is a part of the era of
formula one missed in this book.
But, apart from that,
it´s a must have. Buy it. Now.

Mole returns still clutching his morals
A great return to the mole series. I could not
put this book down. It turned out perhaps a bit
more serious than the previous mole books but
Adrian returns still a bit out of the loop and
yet endearing. The only complaint I have is that
I wish he would get over haughty Pandora. Truly,
however, a fantastic return!!!

wonderful plot twist when Adrian becomes a
celebrity chef
Wonderful plot twist in Adrian's life when he
becomes a celebrity chef ("but I can't
cook!") in London with his own cooking show.
I was very down when I started reading this but I
laughed out loud when I got to the very end of
the book. Same old bad judgment with women.
Previous reviewers have complained that Adrian is
still the same old guy with the same old
problems. Well, from the perspective of age 50, I
can tell you it's pretty realistic that despite
all efforts our basic characters may not change
all that much. I have great faith in Adrian. I
hope someday he'll publish a monstrous best
seller called "A Yob's Life", the main
character of which will be (of course) Kent
Barry.

Synopsis
Harry Potter is a wizard in his third year at Hogwarts
School of Witchcraft and Wizadry. The atmosphere at
Hogwarts is tense. The sinister prison guards of Azkaban
have been called in to guard the school and Harry, Ron
and Hermione soon discover why wizards live in fear of
Azkaban.
Book Information
"The Harry Potter books have become a phenomenon...
parents squabble over who gets to read them to the kids,
and teachers say a chapter can silence the most rowdy of
classes. --The Guardian
"JK Rowling has woken
up a whole generation to reading. In the 2020's
thirty-something book-lovers will know each other by smug
references to Diagon Alley and Quidditch." -- The
Times
"Children's play at
Harry Potter: the ultimate compliment" --The
Scotsman
"Rowling's first
title Harry Potter and the
Philosopher's Stone started a cult. The emergence of each of
the remaining books in the projected series of seven
deserves to become a major annual event. Rowling creates
a complete and perfect world." --The Times
"But where the Harry
Potter books move into a class above the general run is
in their handling of fear and loss. The emotional heart
of the first book lies in Harry's longing for the parents
he never knew. The Harry Potter stories will join that
small group of children's books which are read and reread
into adulthood. I imagine that the number of readers
waiting impatiently for the next instalment grows by the
day." --The TLS
