Fujifilm Professional has announced the runners-up in its 1997 Wedding and Portrait Awards. The Fujifilm Wedding and Portrait Awards Ceremony was held at The Roof Gardens, Kensington, London on Wednesday 3 June 1998. One of the judges this year was George Dawber, Fellow and past President of the BIPP and Fellow of the Master Photographers' Association. "The level of entries was generally much higher and more innovative this year, particularly with the move towards digital enhancement", said George. "There is some very creative work being produced and each finalist stood out in their own way due to the very different treatments. The presentation and print quality is very important and some very good work fell down on these two elements".
