You never thought it would happen. Hell, I wondered if it would ever happen. Gareth wondered. My friends and family never stopped asking. But I am here to tell you the impossible dream has been realised! We have a place!
It has only taken eight months, five of which you have witnessed on this site, for the first and most important decision to fall into place. If that is just too much planning for you to handle for one entry, hold on because there is more to come! We have a date!
Thats right my friends, get out your diaries because on Sunday, August 13th, Gareth and I will be tying the knot.
Now, you knew that could not be all. Have you heard the expression: give them an inch and they will take a mile. Well, if a time and place was not enough, I have spent the last week fending off more decisions. After much puttering about by outside parties, now everyone is crazy to finish off the rest. These include colours, flowers, ice sculptors, music, makeup artists - I kid you not, and along with anything and everything else you can imagine. But I am so pleased that the most important bit has been done that none, not a single bit of this bothers me. I have brushed it off like I plan on brushing off life next week during my mid-term break.
With the ease of an ice dancer, I slid out from underneath the swell of questions and into the waiting arms of excuses. My excuse is that I can not decide anything until I get back from Wales next week. After all, I can not make a decision without consulting Gareths family as well. Right?
