Yes, my entry is late this week! I have been busy! I have been away from a computer! Do not blame me, blame the weather! What do you want from me anyway!
If I sound like a spoiled brat, it is not my fault. Gareth and I have been pampered and spoiled with all this week. We have no control over ourselves in such situations. And why should we! We are perfect!
Okay, sorry, but I must tell you that this egomania did not start with me. Gareth was the first to go. It all started when we decided to get engagement photos taken.
Youngs Hire generously offered to suit Gareth up for the occasion and off he went to their headquarters to get fitted up. They treated him like a prince. He is not the type to go shopping and they really made him feel comfortable. Youngs fitted him in a beautiful black suit, and what a result! He looked gorgeous. Yes I fully admit the possibility of my own bias here. Judge for yourself when you see the photos.
We met up with Brett Killington, the photographer, in Bristol on our way back from Wales this week. He works in London as well, but since Bristol was one of the stops on the way down it seemed reasonable. He picked us up at the train station and explained to us how he likes to take photos that are more artistic than your ordinary wedding and engagement photos. He showed us a book of his photos at his house and they were beautiful. Safe in his hands, he easily transformed us into supermodels. Look out Cindy Crawford. Even Gareth thought he would make the cover of Vogue. I politely pointed out that Vogue was a womans magazine but he was unfazed.
Now after all that build up I know you are wondering where the photos are. It should be about a week or two, but after that you will get to see Gareth and I in all our glory when we download the photos to the site. 25 February 2000,
Stacie Lewis
