Episode 32

Gareth and I have inspired a poet to verse! A couple of weeks ago we felt like supermodels and now we are acting as muses for poetry. Our egos continue to grow by leaps and bounds as a result. Soon they will be of the likes of national disaster priority.

Ann Lowde called me this week and asked to write a poem in honour of our ceremony. She is a poet by trade and has written verse for all kinds of people and occasions. She was very friendly and I am expecting a poem written uniquely for us to arrive in the post any day now. Check back at the site next week to see how it turned out.

I guess my parents did not discover my entry of last week or they would have received the message:
SORT YOUR LIFE OUT.

My sister called me very upset this week with information that my parents arguments have reached near blood bath proportions. We are caught in the frankly awful position of understanding both their sides, while they do not understand nor attempt to understand each others. My sister felt she was the catalyst for this entanglement but I assured her that they had been waiting to lock horns ever since planning had begun.

I am quietly sitting it out, blissfully pretending to be unaware of any goings on. Conveniently, I am located 1000 miles from home which makes this a bit easier. However, all will change when I return home, this time with Gareth for more planning in less than a month.

As a final note, we have posted photos by Brett Killington on the site. Write us and tell us what you think of our mugs. Many thanks to Brett for doing them.
