Unique reception venue. Upmarket replica of a 19th century Mississippi Paddleboat cruising Central London. Sliding roof, upper deck, promenade walkway, luxurious interior. Takes up to 230 persons for functions. Competitve rates. Starts from anywhere between Putney and the Thames Barrier. Colour brochure available.

We organise over 20 Wedding Receptions each year. Experienced team will relieve all the pressure on the day and during the preparation period.

Unfortunately as a moving venue we are not allowed to have ceremonies on board but have tie-ins with riverside venues that do.

Dining Saloon

The traditional dining saloon offers complete flexibility. The layout may be altered to suit both formal and informal events, whether they be large (up to 148) or small (from 40 upwards).

The Floor Plans, show a general configuration of tables and chairs. All can be changed. Nothing is fixed. Squares for 40 to dine seated on the outside, top table for 12 with 4 sprigs seating a further 120 or a herring bone pattern to seat 136 are all possible

Our standards, both above and below deck, are impeccable. Our chefs, resident now for 10 years, can produce everything from an imaginative cocktail selection to a formal 5-course banquet and, if required, can of course produce unusual or exotic theme menus.

Wedgewood china and the finest silver plate will grace the table. A discreet and professional uniformed staff will cater to your every whim. Pink or white linen napery is used throughout.

Entertainment

An essential ingredient for every event. The Elizabethan is probably the finest entertainment vessel cruising the Thames. The experienced mangement can conjure up a host of ideas, all proven, reliable and successful in the past. A glimpse into our repertoire:

Jazz Band
A must for this style of boat. From 4 to 6 piece, Dixiland to Traditional, soothing background to a stomping session.

Magician
Close up illusion of the highest class. Wizardry, chicanery and comedy. Works the Reception then the Tables. Excellent add - on for any occasion.

Casino
The lure of the baize. Monte Carlo on Thames. Colourful, exciting, noisy. Full sized Blackjack, Roulette or Craps tables. Licensed costumed croupiers. Always draws a crowd.

Caricaturist
Wickedly humorous satire. An exponent of the art. Captures the essential character of the subject. Amusing to watch and to be sketched. An excellent souvenir.

Steel Band
Gentle sounds reminiscent of faraway shores. Relaxing background or gentle rhythmn. No effort dancing. Add in a fire limbo dancer for thrills and audience participation cabaret.

Blues Duo
Blues and jazz piano. Dreamy standards of the 40s and 50s era. Perfect background or cabaret for all occasions. Excellent notices from our clients.

Wedding Receptions

Our speciality. Up to 148 guests may be seated in the dining room. There is a complete flexibility as to the layout. As you may know, due to vagaries of the Marriage Act it is not possible to actually hold the ceremony on board - blessings are fine - but as the reception venue can be produced at any point between Putney and the Thames Barrier our boat is a popular and original choice.

If a waterside location is particularly apt for the ceremony we do have a special arrangement with the licensed Tower Thistle Hotel who have a number of beautiful rooms for the occasion. The setting by Tower Bridge is delightful and the guests can then board at St. Katherine's Pier immediately outside the Hotel.
