Ramster is situated on the Surrey/Sussex borders in the quiet seclusion of a private country estate, surrounded by Ramster's famous woodland gardens.
The Long Hall, a magnificent Jacobean beamed and panelled hall, 100 feet long, dates from 1604. Up to 200 people can be accommodated for lectures or receptions, and any number up to 150 for seated meals.
The Great Drawing room, adjoining the Long Hall, is licensed for civil marriages. The room can be arranged for any size of weddings up to 130 guests.

Lying on the Surrey/Sussex borders it is conveniently situated only an hour from London, and within easy reach of Guildford, Farnham, Godalming and Cranleigh, while Haslemere, and its excellent train service to Waterloo, is five miles away.
The house, which is based on a Jacobean farmhouse, is not open to the public, but the Long Hall is a very popular venue for civil marriages, wedding receptions, dinners and corporate functions.
